What Agencies Screen For, and Why
Screening is usually discussed as something done to companions. Agencies also screen clients, and understanding what they look for makes the process quicker for everyone.
What they are actually checking
Not your identity in any deep sense. They are checking that you are a real person making a genuine booking, that you are not likely to be difficult, and that the companion will be safe. That is the whole purpose.
The signals are behavioural. Clear communication, a specific request, ordinary politeness and no haggling all mark an enquiry as genuine within about ten seconds of reading it.
What raises concern
Refusing to give any name. Pressing for explicit detail in a first message. Attempting to negotiate the rate before booking. Insisting on an unusual location. Aggression when asked a routine question. Any of these will slow or stop a booking, and reasonably so.
It is not personal
Companions meet strangers alone. Screening is the only protection available before a door opens. A client who takes offence at it is misunderstanding what it is for.
How to make it easy
Give a first name, a clear request, and a working phone number that you answer. That is genuinely sufficient for most bookings with an established agency. Repeat clients are screened once and rarely again.
Why it protects you too
An agency that screens clients also screens companions, verifies photographs, and enforces standards. The same rigour that makes your booking slightly slower is what makes it accurate. Operations that screen nobody are the ones where bait-and-switch happens.
Independent screening
Independent companions often screen more thoroughly than agencies, because they have no organisation behind them. Requests for a reference from another companion, or workplace verification, are normal in that context and are not an attempt to collect your data.
