Ending a Booking Early: When and How

A booking has an agreed length, but either person can end it sooner, and sometimes ending early is the right call. Knowing the etiquette — and the etiquette on payment — keeps an early finish from becoming a bad memory.

When a client might end early

You are not feeling well, the chemistry simply is not there, or you have had a lovely time and are content before the clock runs out. All legitimate. You are never obliged to use every minute; the time is yours to end when you wish.

When a companion might end early

She is entitled to end a booking too — and will — if a boundary is pushed, if you are significantly intoxicated, if you are aggressive, or if she feels unsafe. This is not her being difficult; it is her right, and in those cases the early end is on the client's behaviour, not hers.

The payment reality

If you end early by your own choice, the full agreed fee stands. You booked and paid for a block of time; choosing not to use all of it does not entitle you to a refund. Expecting money back for time you elected not to use is a misunderstanding of what the rate is.

How to end early with grace

Be warm and clear. 'I've had a really good time and I'm happy to leave it here' is perfect — it ends things kindly without implying anything was wrong. Do not slink out awkwardly or invent an excuse; a gracious, honest close is easy and appreciated.

If something was wrong

If you are ending early because something genuinely was not right — the person was not as described, for instance — say so calmly and take it up with the agency afterwards rather than turning it into a confrontation on the spot. That is what the agency and its recourse are for.

If she ends it over your conduct

If a companion ends a booking because of how you behaved, the honest response is to reflect, not to argue or demand a refund. The fee stands, and the lesson — about boundaries, alcohol, or conduct — is the thing to take away.

The decent version

Ended kindly and for honest reasons, an early finish is completely fine and sometimes the nicest way to close a good evening. Ended badly — with blame, a scene, or a refund demand — it undoes whatever went well. The difference is entirely in the manner.
