Booking a Travel Companion in Greece: Multi-Day Arrangements
Multi-day bookings are a distinct format with their own logic, and they go wrong when treated as simply a long version of an evening booking.
How they are priced
Travel bookings are quoted as a day rate or a package rather than by the hour, and the day rate is substantially less than twenty-four hours at hourly pricing. What it covers is the companion's availability for that period, not continuous attention — she will sleep, have time to herself, and is not on duty at four in the morning.
Travel, accommodation and meals are the client's responsibility and sit on top of the rate. For an island trip that adds up, and it is worth costing properly before proposing it.
Planning the trip
Book far ahead. Companions available for multi-day arrangements are the more established ones with schedules to clear, and a week's notice is not enough for a four-day trip in August.
Islands and logistics
Ferries and domestic flights need booking for two, and Greek island travel in season sells out. Decide the itinerary before booking the companion, because a trip that changes shape after the arrangement is agreed creates problems for someone who has cleared their calendar for specific dates.
Separate rooms
Offer a separate room or at minimum a suite with space. This sounds counterintuitive but is standard at the upper end of this format — everyone functions better over several days with somewhere to retreat to, and companions frequently cite it as the thing that distinguishes a good client.
Boundaries over several days
Agree in advance what the days actually involve. A companion joining you for dinners and evenings while you work during the day is a different arrangement from constant company, and both are normal. What is not workable is discovering the mismatch on day two.
Documentation
For international travel, check passport validity and any visa requirements well in advance. Within Greece and the Schengen area this is rarely an issue; beyond it, it can be the thing that ends the plan.
